Shawn was nominated for this prestigious position because he has shown dedication to his family and community, all while supporting his beautiful wife who was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2012. His selflessness and courage has helped him grow to be an even better husband, father, uncle, son and brother! Shawn works hard every day to support his family and stays strong for his wife. Holding so much emotion and stress in his own heart gave him the idea to play a part in creating the cure.
